KAI unveils new logo, travel card system

Among celebrations of the 66th anniversary of state-owned railway company PT KAI on Wednesday, the company unveiled a new corporate logo, hoping the new look will help re-energize its performance as a mass transportation provider.

The new logo is simpler than its predecessor, and consists of an orange stripe above a blue stripe. The previous logo consisted of three white stripes on an orange background.

Besides the new logo, the company also launched its new rail card system, which can be used to book train tickets at ticket machines at several locations. The rail card is being issued in cooperation with Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI). — JP
